St. Bernard School operates its cafeteria under the direction of the Diocesan School Food Service. St. Bernard School's School Nutrition Program is computerized. Each student enrolled in the school is given a food service identification (ID) number. This is your child’s food service ID number as long as they attend St. Bernard School.
The Diocese of Lafayette Food and Nutrition Services can accommodate special dietary needs. A Medical Statement for Diet Modification form must be on file for the current school year.
Effective for the 2025-2026 school year, Pre-Kindergarten through 8th-grade students can bring their lunch from home without a diet modification form. Even if your child chooses to bring lunch from home, it is highly recommended that a diet modification form be submitted for all food allergies and intolerances. Cafeteria payments can be made monthly by check when the bill is sent home in the student’s weekly folder or handled online for a small fee at https://www.myschoolbucks.com. You will need your child’s student ID, which can be found on the blue bill that comes home monthly.
SBS INFORMATION REGARDING FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH
For those families who are interested in information and/or receiving an application form regarding the federal program for free or reduced lunch, packets are available in the cafeteria through our Cafeteria Manager, Ms. Chris Mayon. You can file online by going to Free/Reduced Applications.
