In a very real sense, St. Bernard School is ensured by the foundation. It is the Foundation that provides a secure future for this school and our entire community. The St. Bernard School Foundation is rooted in a deep history. Thirty-Six years ago, a dedicated group of individuals including parents, grandparents, and community members, who wanted to ensure a Catholic education for the children of St. Martin Parish, created the Foundation. The SBS Foundation continues to be a strong supporter of the school. The Foundation Board oversees the investments and returns a portion of the interest to the school through grants and program support. The Foundation has given thousands of dollars to the school in teacher grants. The more capital the Foundation investments hold, the greater the percentage returned to the school.
